In 2001, former Junior Historians advisor and history teacher Mr. Terry Moore let an effort to design and build a memorial park to honor all local men and women who served our country in war and peace. The memorial is located between the high school and elementary buildings.

Each year during the week of the Veterans Day assembly, memorial bricks are added to the park with the names of local veterans who have passed away. Please contact the school if you would like a brick placed at the memorial to honor a veteran who has passed away and has local ties to the community or school district.
